It's good to be back, hopefully my computer problems are behind me. A lot has happened in the past few weeks. My oldest son got married and my other son arrived back home after being away for 2 years, and to top it off we just got back from a family camping trip. While camping these two sunsets were taken just a few hundred feet from one another. Both are just as they were, taken out of the camera with no changes, but I did use a filter on the one taken at Butterfly Lake in the high Uinta's (top). I also liked the lens flare.

These are both winners and I especially like the rays from the sun on #1. I believe you said you had the lens stopped down to f20 for that. Glad you're back.
Oh my - you do get spectacular sunsets Chad. Welcome back!!
These are both great sunset shots. It's good to be alive!
You're back - with a flourish! Gorgeous sunsets; love them both - the top one is very dramatic and the reflections in the 2nd one are sublime.
Hi there Chad, glad you're back in business. And you're doing so fine. Wonderful to have your family around you again. Hmmmm.
And these two beauties are taking my breath away as always. Don't know wich I like best.
Hugs D.
Happy you are back in action, Chad, and what a show! Both are stunning but I adore reflections.
I left a comment yesterday, but it didn't show up so I'll try again. Both of these photos are indeed stunners! If I had to pick, I'd choose the top one as my favorite. The composition and lighting are spectacular. Love the clouds going from dark to light and silhouetting the trees. Beautifully done Chad. And glad you're back. Sounds like you've had some fun and memorable family experiences recently.
Welcome back Chad, and did you ever come back with some beautiful photos. Your sunsets are stunning, these are amazing captures! Me loving reflections the way I do, number two is my favorite but they're both fantastic!
