  • Scott and I went to Thanksgiving Point today and wore ourselves out on flower viewing. This is one I found interesting, it looked to me to have exploded.

I tried but really didn't get a good shot of that one. That's the one I was laying on my stomach on the sidewalk and my elbows hurt because of the hard bricks. I'm glad one of us got such a nice shot of that beautiful little flower.

Chad this is a beautiful photo, I love the vibrant yellow!

Scott, sorry about the sore elbows. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun today, that's awesome!

ooooh Chad! I just saw one of these today!! I didn't have my camera with me - but I'm thinking I might have to go back to click. This is so pretty - makes me want to run my finger over the fuzzy part!!

The stamens look like one of those fibre-optic thingys...science imitating art, I guess.

Glad you and Scott got to see what I see numerous times a week. I told Scott in reply to his email, that if you have a season pass, you can get in when the gardeners show up around 6am, instead of when it officially opens at 10am. My daughter and I walked there this morning around 6:30a, and it was so pretty and so peaceful. This is a lovely shot, Chad, and looking forward to many more.
