  • This is last nights sunset. Last night on my way out to Antelope Island there were more people taking photos of the sunset than I have ever seen. This was my last photo taken. It was not my best, but I still remember how I felt while taking it. Everyone else had left and I was miles from anyone else, the calm and beauty really made this a special moment.

I know what you mean by "a special moment". I have pictures of years back that I recall that special moment when I took the photo. If I had to rely on my memory alone...thank goodness for photos. That is a great sunset shot.

This was definitely worth the stay out there. As you said on the phone the colors are so much softer after the sun has gone down, and the transitions so much more subtle. Awesome reflections and beautiful photo.

OBTW, (That's text talk for Oh, by the way) You said in your comment on my Sunset Sunday post that the whole truth had not been revealed. Ha ha - Since you never read posts and only look at the pictures you didn't know that I actually said in there that the photo is of a Sunrise - so there thpppppppft! ;^]

Hi there Chad....well you've done it....you got me into tears. Thank you sooooo much for the sweet words on my previous post. It means the world to me to hear that from a photographer so skilled as yourself. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (I just feel so ordinary with my stuff compared to all the other bloggers work).

This sunset feeling just on your own I do know...love to be by myself and just surrounded with nature. Beautiful.

Oh and what the heck did Scott mean by thppppppft???? ;-)))
    Happy day my friend.
    Hugs Dagmar
