  • I wanted to participate in Scott weekly Sunday Sunsets. These two photos were taken in the same location just minutes apart. The colors in the last picture really don't do it justice. The colors were just fabulous. These were taken on our way to Yellowstone last Sunday evening.

That's almost hard to believe Chad. It seems two different locations and colours of light changing so fast that it looks like a miracle.

What shutterspeed did you use here? I'm anxcious to learn this too. And when the weather clears up I might hop on my bike this week to ride to our little lakes around the corner and hopefully find the same amazing creations God is sending down on us.
    Happy sunday. Dagmar

What is so interesting about these, obviously is the difference in the colors that occurred within about 15 to 20 minutes and only a couple miles up the road.

Wow! It's amazing how the sky can change like this. Last night we had the pink here as well, almost like your bottom photo, less the water. It really was breathtaking and I grabbed my camera in the nick of time! :-) Great shots once again Chad! Enjoy your day!

Brilliant, Chad! Isn't it amazing what a minute or two can do, in terms of changing light and colour? It's a great lesson for me - always be patient and see what you might find in a minute or two. :o) Hope you're having a great evening!
